Delta is a public charging column station for electric vehicles, developed during a four months workshop in collaboration with DAZE, designed to integrate seamlessly into the urban landscape. Unlike most charging stations that often appear detached from their surroundings, Delta features a concrete base, which allows it to integrate harmoniously into the urban landscape. Conceived as a multifunctional element, Delta not only enables efficient electric vehicle charging but also provides street lighting during nighttime hours. The project involved the development of the concept in line with the company’s technological requirements and design vision, supported by research into materials, usability, and urban integration.
